mam and sir my name is Lalitha I have 2nd month baby boy now I am saffring from cold and sneezing more and I am breastfeeding also so which tab I can take

A. while you are down with cold and fever it is best to wear a mask and breast feed the baby.. I would highly suggest you to get your blood test done too. dengue and viral fever is doing rounds currently. don't want to scare you but it is best to be cautious. my sister in law was diagnosed with dengue two weeks back. our pediatrician suggest us to start using Aptamil Gold stage 1 formula for our 5 months old nephew as my sister in law was too weak and pale to feel the baby . our doctor said that Aptamil Gold stage 1 formula contains probiotics and HMOs, it contains components which is close to breast milk.

A. no problem you can take medicines for the cold problem and fee d the baby. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment
