Is primary test necessary for 2yr old... She have cold since 10days...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should beu used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed.
if any fever is there paracetamol can be gijven to reduce the temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

It Would completely depend on what your doctor is suggesting if your child is having issue for last 10 days and it’s not subsiding then there is no I’m getting a test done further to know what exactly is the issue behind it and at least you’ll be sure about it and medication can be suggested according to that
