A. that myth..
massage is important in early baby's life.. but this is myth regarding bowed leg.
Some chubby babies legs also look like bowed leg..
Actual Bowed legs in babies normally last for anywhere between 0 to 2 years... after the baby begins to walk, usually disappearing by the time of three years..
you can consult your paedritician or orthopedic once.

A. Thank you so much for a clear answer Dr. Disha. When I showed him to pediatrician , he was diagnosed with physiological genu varum and he is on calcium and vitamin supplements . His legs would become normal once he is around 2-3 years.
Dear doctor, When I Googled, I read it like this genu varum will become a knock nee, then genu valgus ,then it wil become straight only by his 8-10 years of age.
Is it true doctor ? til 10 years of age will his son be bent or a knock knee ?
please advice me on this.

A. Thank you so much for replying .
You are saying that my son's legs are not straightened properly is because of not given a proper massage and bath during his early times. When I consulted the doctor, the doctor said the bowed legs are because of calcium and vitamin insufficiency.
Still I tel people that doctor have diagnosed and stated this, people say like it's not true and if the bath was not given properly his legs wouldn't be curved.
