is drink alcohol/wine safe as breastfeeding mother..?.

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr old girl4 years agoA. no it is not safe .Mother feeding should be exclusively till 6 month of ageif possible. If not possible then milk formula should be given with proper dilution . After 6 month can start with top feed along with cow milk .

Eat a well balanced healthy diet and keep yourself hydrated all through the day while breastfeeding your baby. Follow your doctor’s instructions diligently. Good luck and take care
