As far as possible it would be good if you could probably avoid using refined white sugar for the baby ,
though later on if their is a need to be given you could probably then prefer to use healtheir options such as jaggery , honey or even dates, raisins etc
NikithaMom of a 11 yr 2 m old boy1 Year agoA. hello yes it is absolutely fine and safe to avoid the sugar completely for the child and it is in fact a healthy option and safe also for the child and you can also replace sugar with jaggery as an alternative which would be better and also safe for the child
