Q.

In Government hospitals, Pneumococcal (PCV) and (IPV) vaccine is not given at 10 weeks vaccination schedule, should we go to private hospitals and take it or Its fine to follow Government hospitals.

A. it's give so the vaccination should be given according to the vaccination schedule whether the government or IAP schedule and you can discuss with your pediatrician regarding the details of the vaccination. Pulse polio immunization programme is provided by the government to all children below 5 years of age. if your child has received polio vaccine before as per the schedule then also you should give this vaccine on the the pulse polio day as this is an additional vaccine. For polio vaccine dates and related query you need to contact your local authorities .

A. take it now ytfor further advise and information in this regard it is advisable to consult your local doctor for proper examination physically and if all required any investigations also and proper management
