if I m taking medication of covid19, then those medicines can harm my baby through breastfeeding?

DR SHIWAJIRAO PATILGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 6 months old and if you are taking Covid medicine and he is taking breast feeding so some medicine like viral antibiotic may get secreted in your milk and so be careful

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 5 yr 11 m old girl4 years agoA. you will have to tell what all meds you r been given . breast milk should be given to baby till first 6 months of age. Mother milk is best as it contains natural antibodies and best for baby growth.
