Q.

I went to a nearby paediatrician for my 10 month old baby cold and fever. he gave Tac syrup 3.25 ml for morning and night. but when I googled it was given that it is not for babies. please advise on this

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficuial in both the casesbu along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .

A. I am not sure about the medicine but he is 3.5 ML twice a day Idu extremely heavy doses please medicines are given by the age of three years your child with so much of amount so I suggest you process when another doctor doom trust Google for sure but he has taken opinion from another paediatrician please
