Q.

I'm the mom of 3.5 month old baby , my question is my left side of breast has one of the milk duct is blocked , and it is recurring every 3rd day . I need advice for this problem and how to get relief from this situation?

A. Hello, before nursing take warm shower or bath, or do hot fomentation, compress Apply warm compresses to the swollen area 3-4 times a day for 10-15 minutes. and do breast massage or compression during feedings. Breastfeed often—every 1.5 to 2 hours during the day .

A. hi dear Applying a heating pad or warm cloth for 20 minutes at a time.Soaking the breasts in warm Epsom salt baths for 10–20 minutes. Changing breastfeeding positions so that the baby's chin or nose points toward the clogged duct, making it easier to loosen the milk and drain the duct.apply a warm, wet compress to the affected breast.take warm baths or hot showers several times a day, if possible. gently massage the breast to help release the clog before and between feedings.apply ice packs to the affected area after breastfeeding.
