i m breastfeeding mother of 3 month old. can I get my vaccination (covid 19)??? it is safe for babies??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. as a pediatrician I would recommend that you should take the vaccination for your protection as well as for the child
as per the Government of India they are not recommending vaccination for lactating mothers but there are very good number of studies which suggest that lactating mothers can take the vaccination so the end decision will be yours and you can discuss this with your doctor

No The government guidelines do not recommend for a feeding mother or a pregnant woman to go for this vaccination so as of now would not advise you to go for vaccination as of now till the time you’re feeding the child once you quit it completely then you go ahead with it
