I'm a mother of 60 days baby.i got mild cold . can I use cetrizine tablet .

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. take tablet cetirizine 10mg once a day and paracetamol 500 mg can be taken for fever as well as pain. (you can take all types of anti cold medicine and cough medicine along with paracetamol for cough and cold given by your doctor).
go for hot saline gargles at least 4 times per day and take tulsi ginger honey as well as turmeric with milk. you can continue breastfeeding if going on. if there is no improvement in 3 days it is advisable to meet the doctor.
to prevent the spread of cold and cough from mother to the child the mother has to do regular hand washing and use face mask while giving breastfeeding and this willr prevent spread of cold cough from mother to the child.
can take paracetamol for fever and pain. r

Yes you can take it there is no problem with that because you can easily take any good anti-allergic when you are feeding the child there would be no problem with that further further if you feel more of a problem then feel free to consult your doctor for further medication ahead
