i hve a 2month son.his cold is nt goin. specially in the nite.he is unable to breathe...plz advise any medicine

Author of questionMom of a 8 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. he doesn't hve running nose..a slight cough but nose block.i kp putting nasaclear..but dat doesn't help must.from today i hve strted indirect steam inhalation for him..sinarest 0.4 ml 2 time and mucolite 0.5 2 times a day is on..

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a x part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which neceds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children3 years agoA. good morning before putting your child bed I would recommend that you should try to give indirect steam inhalation and I would recommend you to try to apply baby Vicks rub on the nose and make your baby sleep in an elevated position
