Q.

i hve a 2month son.his cold is nt goin. specially in the nite.he is unable to breathe...plz advise any medicine

A. he doesn't hve running nose..a slight cough but nose block.i kp putting nasaclear..but dat doesn't help must.from today i hve strted indirect steam inhalation for him..sinarest 0.4 ml 2 time and mucolite 0.5 2 times a day is on..

A. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a x part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which neceds treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .

A. good morning before putting your child bed I would recommend that you should try to give indirect steam inhalation and I would recommend you to try to apply baby Vicks rub on the nose and make your baby sleep in an elevated position
