Q.
i have given medicine for cough nd cold 15 days earlier now my baby again suffering from cold and cold cough.can i give medicine again . medicine was tag d,spid nd azithromycin.plz suggest me what to do.and now how many days should be given medicine to her

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectohfrant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is thuere paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .
