Q.

I hAve checked the temperature and I have given paracetamol 250 immediately, but my child's temperature was down within 5 min ,the temperature was 100.2 f so I immediately gave 5ml p250,but after just 2 min the temperature was not there,should I concern that I have given paracetamol immediately and didn't wait ,now I am panicking that why I have given paracetamol, within 5 min the temperature came to normal ,but when I gave medicine the temperature was 100.2

A. But actually a question has a very practical learning because the temperature does not go down in five minutes that’s actually not possible it takes about 15 to 20 minutes to reduce down the temperature to normal but as of now I think you have given a heavier doses it should have been about 3 to 3.5 ML and since you give it a little higher which is why the temperature came down but never mine do not to repeat the medication before six hours if required and consult the doctor also tomorrow if it is needed
