Q.

I have a 3 year old baby girl, she has cold, bcoz of which I gave her hot water steam for 5 mins forcefullly. now, she got reddish dots near her eyes after giving steam, will it become alright itself, I am scared. pls advise

A. hi your baby is 3 years old now due to hot steam the exposed area got flushed leading to red spots don't worry it shall resolve on its own .

A. Apply Cetaphil lotion on to them for the time being and probably it’ll settle down because they must be heat rashes nothing much but do consult your doctor once and for the time being if you have Cetaphil lotion apply otherwise just apply a little bit of coconut oil onto them

A. I will consult the doctor tomorrow morning.. I have made this blunder, not thought of it.... any doctor here can advise will it become ok on its own...

A. Why Did you have to give it forcefully to the child it is not recommended to force the child in hailed as team you just have to give indirect steam to the child for at least 4 to 5 years of age till the time they are not sensible enough to take the seam directly and that too from a distance you have to consult your doctor for what you have done recently the doctor can advise you better
