I gave birth on July 3rd, via c section, bleeding happened approx for 25-26 days that too very lessand on September 2nd I got my periods, is it normal? Also does it happen because I am not able to breastfeed my baby.

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician3 days agoA. Yes could be the reason as due to breast feeding prolactin hormone increases in the body which leads yo missing periods during breast feeding phase so it could be due to that it’s okay nothing to worry

It is advised to check with your consulting gynaecologist about the present condition and seek medical advice. Clarify your concerns about feeding as well
