I feel like my milk supply is gradually decreasing. what to do to boost it back?

A. how old is your baby? if you are feeling that your supply is low then start to have high protein diet, include papaya, chicken, eggs, paneer, chickpea, garlic in your diet. these ingredients will boost your milk supply. also you might experience low supply because your periods may be near. I usually feel low supply 2-3 days before my menstrual cycle. when I discussed with my doctor he suggested me to start giving formula to the baby as low supply might affect baby's growth. I am using Aptamil Gold formula for my baby after my doctor's suggestion as it is close to breast milk and helps the baby to reach all the growth milestone

A. Hello dear parent! Include methi, roasted makhana, jeera, saunf in your daily diet. The more your baby suckles your breastmilk directly the better milk supply. Consult a lactation specialist. Good luck and take care
