Q.
I am 12 week 1 day pregnant. My Gynecologist has offered the opportunity to have a screening test for Down syndrome. Should I think this is normal test during 3rd month of pregnancy?.. I am bit worried about the health of my developing baby.

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist4 years agoA. Usually around 12 weeks of pregnancy they will do an ultrasound scan to check the nuchal translucency which will give an indication if there is high risk for Anomaly or not.
