Hi mom U need to take necessary precautions like don't cough with force, do not lift anything heavy, apply ointment on stitches as prescribed by the doctor, if itching is there do not scratch, just rub ur hands softly to get relief from itching. It can take around 6 months for the stitches to heal internally and externally.
