how to decrease my 10 months beby cold

A. she does not have running nose...sometimes she makes gur gur sound and if have head bath....her head and stomach will become hot....that is she is getting fever...we are thinking this is because of cold....suggest me the solution for this..pls

A. Cold most of the time is a viral illness where there could be running nose sneezing along with cough and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration . steam inhalation will also be useful in this . cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be used once a proper evaluation by the doctor is done and according to the type of cough its prescribed. if any fever is there paracetamgol can be given to reduce thce temperature and the dose can be repeated again after 6 hours if required .

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and please apply Luke warm mustard oil on baby chest on daily basis and also give baby indirect steam two to three times a day….. Take care
