How much water should be given to 6month old baby?

A. start with water gradually and also start with meals prepared at home and near about 30 to 60 ml water can be given also continue to breastfeed at regular intervals

A. hello....It's generally advised by doctors that your baby shouldn't drink water until he's about 6 months old and after that you can start giving few sips of water every now and then ( no more then 60 ml in 24 hours)....baby gets all the hydration needed from breast milk or formula, even in hot weather. Once your baby is 6 months old, it's okay to give him sips of water when he's thirsty.,..after that give water after every solid meal so as to prevent constipation. .
