hiii mommy's... My 6 months old baby has cough and cold from 3 days ..she had also fever but now she is ok but she's is still suffering from cold and I have noticed that from past two days she is not urinating properly means the frequency of urination has decreased...I m really very worried...pls tell me...what to do?

Baby needs appropriate antibiotics to treat the infection The reason for all these things For further advice it is advisable to consult your local doctor for appropriate examination if there is need for investigations also then only proper treatment can be given to you o . K .

Cough and Cold needs to be treated only after a proper examination by a doctor after the exact cause is diagnosed.may be infection or allergy.it may not be related to food items but seasonal changes may aggravate the susceptibility to get infected .
maintain good immunity of the child with proper diet and supplements.
if associated with fever too, calpol can be given three times a day..
give steamto relieve blocked nose and nasoclear drops multiple times.
Cough Syrup or nebulization should be given only after a proper evaluation according to the type of cough .self medication may not be so helpful so plea sose consult your doctor once. if the cough is productive you can give brozeet-ls or ambrodil syrup for now only n continue only after doctor's advice.avoid refrigerated items and give simple home-made preparations a required.child may not be interested in food due to altered sensations of taste bud in illness will gradually begin to eat as symptoms resolve.
