Q.

hie I had given influenza vaccine to my 7month baby yesterday but he was not having fever from morning but at midnight he got fever I had already gave him metacin but still fever came,later I gave him metacin fever was gone.From today morning he had vomit twice what might be the reason for his vomit???n prior 3days he was suffering from cold and cough but little cold is there and his vomit is sticky type n bad smell??please let me know the reason behind it or shall I consult doctor???

A. vaccination should be postponed if your baby already is suffering from cold cough fever or some infection. however since your baby is having cold and cough and he might have vomited and the sticky substance can be mucus still you can check with your doctor for assessment of baby
