Q.
Hi Sir, My 3 months 20 days baby is having cold from last 1 week . He has vaccination between 16 to 18 weeks due to the cold he is not vaccinated and now he entered into 19th week still he has cold. is it ok to give now or can we wait some more days. could you please suggest. currently we are using levolin and budecort through nebulizer from last 8 days . Thanks

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be devery useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
