A. Make sure that the room is well-ventilated and there is someone else also in the family who is Covid negative to take care of the infant. A mother should wear a mask and maintain a six feet distance from the child. However, she can breastfeed the child. Prior to handling the infant or while breastfeeding, the mother should wash her hands and wear a mask. She should also sanitise the surroundings regularly. Besides, the infant should not be made to wear a mask. Once the mother is non-infectious she can keep the baby with herself at all times. if possible to switch to formula milk n keep ur baby with responsible family member.

A. The best defense against the common cold is commonsense precautions and frequent hand-washing.
Keep your baby away from anyone who's sick. ...Wash your hands before feeding or touching your baby. ...Clean your baby's toys and pacifiers often. ...Teach everyone in the household to cough or sneeze into a tissue.
