Hi My son is 2 yrs old i noticed not address some words like appa, amma but he use baa,maa,bee and jjee . he understands each and everything addressed to him but not use normal words. Is this delay in speech should I wait or go speech therapist. please post your suggestion. Thanks in advance.

See you should still try and talk to your child more and more do some poems rhymes with your child with which your child is going to learn to speak better over the period child doesn’t pick up Validity by by the age of 2 1/2 years then you can consult speech therapist also do not give any screen time to the child
