Hi my son had fever and cold from Wednesday afternoon I met doctor and he gave med and 2 days fever settle but the cough and cold he more and he is trying to vomit but he wouldn’t able to I’m worried is this aggravating or this will be like this and will settle

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used ggy in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Cold and congestion can take about 3 to 5 days in general to subside completely so you can definitely give this medicine for 3 to 5 days to the child still the child is not getting any relief then you can check with your doctor again but in the current situation I would advise you to start nebulising the child as well
