Hi.. My son 17 months old.. He has cold.. But pending 1 1/2 month injection...

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. simple cough and cold, low grade fever, loose motions etc as well as simple discomfort of the child for a few days is not a contraindication for vaccination and it is advisable to go for vaccination at the earliest. the maximum you can delay woudld be around 2-3 weeks but after that it is advisable not to delay the vaccination.
in severe illness only vaccination should be delayed.
if still in dconfusion you can meet your doctor who will examine the child and tell you whether vaccination delay is preferable or you can go for vaccination

Jasmine KaurMom of a 9 yr 3 m old boy2 years agoA. Hello dear parent, do not worry about the vaccination if baby is not well. If you will get vaccination done when baby is not well. Vaccination will aggravate the problem. So better to postpone. Good luck and take care
