Q.

Hi my got fever from 2days..atfirst i gave paracetamol it didn't reduce so i gave meftal p syrup then fever got reduced... my doctor told me to continue meftal p only... giving meftal p syrup have any side effects?? or any other prblm because most of them says it is high dosage syrup.. pls tell me

A. all medicines have got side effects and it is advisable to give paracetamol first and methylp to be given only after 2 hours of paracetamol if it is not working

Q. Hello my son is 1yr old he is having high fever 102 doc gave fepanil 250 fever did not reduce. So gave meftal syrup.. but fever is coming back within 4hrs gap.. giving him sponge bath and doc said it's viral fever.. Can I give him meftal syrup every 4hrs gap???
