hi my daughter is 17 month old..she is having cold since morning...plz suggest a syrup for her or any home remedy

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation would be beneficial . Medicines like siinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be givenv in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .

It’s Running nose or dry cough dry knows that you have not mention so as of now I can only advise you to go ahead with wikoryl Paediatric drops for your child and you can give it for maximum three days two times in a day and still if your child does not feel relief then consult your paediatrician please
