Q.

Hi, My baby is 7 month old recently introduced solids for him..he's having a hard time passing stool and cries a lot..giving simple food like boiled rice with veggies, oats and apple puree..

A. Infant commonly become constipated when they start eat foods that their bodies cannot yet digest properly.Try to add some veggies or fruits in baby food preparation to soften stool and easy to evacuate. give sipes of water after each solid feed. Give Tummy Massage in clockwise direction.

A. Yes need to keep him more hydrated..thank you for ur response..yes am giving him fibre rich food but still the same issue..

A. I’m So you just giving simple food only but are you giving good amount of water or Phiber along with the food that you are giving because giving food is one thing but maintaining hydration in the body by giving good amount of liquid or fibre rich diet is also very important along with the food that you are giving so focus on that as well
