A. dear mum, what was your child's birth weight? if your baby is active, playful, achieving all growth milestones, passing urine more than 7 times in 24 hours then do not worry. For healthy weight gain, give Soft, mashed and hygienically prepared foods. You can begin with porridges (like rice, Ragi, wheat flour , moong dal and rice flour mix) , kheer. then dal-rice with vegetables, veg khichadi, soft mashed fruits, curd. later mashed paneer cheese, Vegetable Daliya consistency of food should be like that of ghee avoid water thin foods like thin dals and rice water, soups. Squeeze lemon in baby's food for iron absorption. beginning with 3-4 teaspoons, give top food 2 to 3 times in a day and up to half katori every time. Continue to breastfeed baby.
