A. Dear mum, weight of 6 kg is normal for 5 months old baby, do not worry. For healthy weight gain, exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete. At one episode of breast feeding feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will help in weight gain.

A. Hello Usually babies double the birth weight by 5 months So weight gain is fine for the age do not worry You can Breastfeed now. Start complementary foods after baby completes 6 months
