Hi my baby is 4 months old and she is having cold for the past 10 days...last time when i consulted for her stuffy nose problem our pediatrician recommended a saline nasal spray can i use it for cold as well

Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a home remedy steam inhalation would be veryg useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used in a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Stegam inhalation is repeated frequently .

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi it is used for blocked nose. mam ,for cold ,I advise to apply Babyhug rapid relief rub on chest and back of your child give plenty of breastfeeds to your child which definitely help your child to fight against such Infection.
