Q.
Hi . My baby is 13 month old..he is having severe cold..we consulted the doctor and he said he is suffering from wheezing..we kept Neb for 3days..still cold is not reduced.Now in addition to cold,he is suffering from cough ..what to do to reduce cold?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it can be allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper exavhymination.j
steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like wikoryl, alex cold
In viral illness there can be cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration .
