Q.

Hi Mu daughter is taking Calcaria phosphorica since she was 7 month old. Is it necessary to continue this or it should be stopped. Her upper teeths have erupted but lower teeth have not erupted yet. Is some medication is required to be done?

A. Thanks doctor! She is 13 months old now so we have discontinued Vit D3, she is only taking Calcarea.

A. no need to give any extra medicine for teeth eruption it is a natural process teeth eruption signs can be drooling of saliva swelling in gums and even irritable cranky baby . to ease the pain can give a teether wooden or any pacifier  available in market . Massage gums will help. give vit d 3 drops 1ml 400 I U or 0.5 ml of 800 I U each day till 1 year of age for strong bones and teeth
