hi meri daughter 3 yrs 4 m ki hai. abhi 1week pahle hi cold cough and fever se thik Hui thi but abhi phir se 1din se use cold ho rha aur bahot jaldi sick hoti hai. kya Karu please advise.

A. it is in diagnosis of allergic cough cold . here the child will have regular cough and cold which is usually not associated with fever . it increases and decreases but does not get cured completely. dr will give anti allergic medicine usually motelukast / levocetirizine. if its still not improving zthe next line of treatment will be inhaler therapy with mdi / nebulizer. allergy can be environmental (temperature variation -hot to cold weather/ cold water intake / dust / smoke / pollens) , food , chocolate / packet preservatives food and sweetz food also. body cannot sustain such allergic changes leading to cough cold usually at evening /night and morning.
