Q.

Hi mama, I'm really scared about my baby milestone about reaching and mouthing for toys. She is 6 months and 1 day old. Still she is not reaching for toys and mouthing things except her fingers. my baby reaches for things in a lying position when I give but don't take it to mouth. immediately she drops it willingly. I saw google and it said the baby should do this in the 6th month. can you please help me with this?

A. Every baby develops at their own pace, so try not to worry. Encourage her with colorful, easy-to-hold sensory toys and teethers during playtime. Nesta Toys has some wonderful baby-safe sensory toys that can help encourage reaching, grasping, and exploration. If you're still concerned after a few weeks, do consult your pediatrician.

A. Teething could be happening with your child which is why your child is mouthing you can give Babyhug teeher to your child and your child is trying to reach joy for a while while lying down so that’s completely fine it’s not a problem in case of doubt you can take an assistance with your doctor and what you read on Google is not always correct so please don’t do that
