hi maa'm dentist has given 2 options for root canal one is by giving general anesthesia the other one is gum anesthesia...he is 23mo what would be good? my husband is not in terms of general anesthesia but it will be too hard on little one my husband is worried abt the side effects of it

A. Hi as your kid is very young he will not be able to co-operate properly under the local gum anaesthesia.. that's why dentist has advised for general anaesthesia.. consult with your nearest Pediatric Dentist for proper clarification..
