Hi In the anomaly scan report its mentioned 'Suspicious small defect seen in inlet septum - suggested postnatal echocardiography'. Dr mentioned it may be a small hole or chance for down syndrome and hole may close before birth.Is this a serious defect , what needs to be done next.Genetic screening done earlier @12 week showed low risk. Any surgery required after birth.Please clarify.
