HomeQuestions & AnswersHi,I have 20 days old newborn baby. i have some doubt about timing of breastfeeding. 1: He sucking only 10 to 15 mins and went to deep sleep i am tried to wakeup him for sucking another 5 or 10 mins but He was not getup.is this time was enough for my baby? 2: some times He wake up after one hr and some time 2hr.is it ok? or shall i give the milk for every halfanhour or one hr? i getting more worry for his latching.please tellme.

A. hi all babies are different so they have their own specific sleep and feeding patterns. so please don't stick to particular timetable and amount. feed your child on demand. if your child looks happy healthy and active, gains enough weight then no need to worry about anything
