Q.

Hi...i had c section before 2 months..i have pus discharge after 40 days of c section and it lasts till now..i went to pelvic exam and scan the result is i am having pelvic inflammatory disease..now i was prescribed antibiotics for one week 6 days is finished still having pus discharge...is it serious condition? what is the reason behind having pid..pls advice..

A. Sometimes the wound will get infected and it may spread inside also. And that might be the reason that you got this. We have to see if there is a tract inside
