Q.

Hi I gave 5ml meftal to my baby around 9 and at 11 I gave sumol syrup 6 ml but still temperature is 101.4 what should i do

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen annd mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. Give Cold sponge on the entire body to your child that’s going to be a lot helpful that way because it’s always said whenever there is fever you should always do cold sponging on the entire body that helps a lot in bringing down the fever really fast
