Q.

Hi, I am a mother of 5 months old baby girl. I have got cough and cold with sputum. Can I take relent tablet twice daily?

A. Hai good afternoon !! While breast feeding tablets or medicine is not suggested ,consult gynaecologist. Doctor would prescribe you medication,only few medicine are suggested while pregnancy and during breast feeding safe for baby so ask doctor's advice on this. Normal home remedy - honey,tulasi leaves or jeera ,ajwain water helps in clearing mucus. Turmeric,pepper powder milk reduces cough.
