Q.

Hi I am a mom of 6 months old baby. I am breast feeding mother and I had c section delivery. After delivery still I don’t have periods. Generally what is the maximum time one get periods after delivery?? When shall I consult the doctor??

A. hi, do not worry about it. the time to resume periods vary to each woman.. for more information do consult with your gynecologist once in person. all the best.

A. Hi I would just like to tell you a lot of women do not get their periods for a year and a half or maybe about two but that’s normal because when you exclusively breastfeeding the child you can have a lot of hormonal changes in the body which leads to postpone periods but that’s normal so you do not have to consult the doctor
