Hi, I am a Breastfeeding mother of a 2.5 year old son. As I am planning to get vaccinated but is it safe for my son? as I am stressed due to this, kindly suggest me shall I take vaccine and will it be safe if my baby starts feeding on the same day.?

Covid vaccination like covishield/ covaxin in the breastfeeding mothers can be given very safely according to the latest recommendation which is approved by by government of India. only pregnant women and children are not included in this list. Nursing moethers can feed their child as soon as required after the vaccination very safely.

SanthoshiMom of a 8 yr 3 m old girl4 years agoA. Yes you can take no issues. If your stresses call. Your doctor she will help.. I will suggest you to see your doctor and follow their advise. That would be one of the best and safest option for you as of now as doctors know our health n body well
