hi , I am 19 week pregnant. in my level 2 scan the ecogenic bowel loop is written plz let me know whether it is normal or is there any abnormality. . plz help i am in stress

Even if this happens, your doctor may recommend follow-up ultrasounds to look at your baby's growth pattern and to reassess the bowel. Fetal echogenic bowel is defined as an increased echogenicity of the fetal bowel, which is noted on the prenatal ultrasound. It can be detected in the fetal ultrasound as a hyperechoic and well-defined area in the lower abdomen of the fetus
