hi dr my baby is 13 months old in her motion I can see mucus i was can I do pls help me

it is usually present due to the throat mucus / thick saliva as well as respiratory secretions
which pass on from respiratory tract (parts of nasal cavity , oral cavity and throat) to the gastrointestinal tract by swallowing and then comes out through the anal canal mixed with the sdtool.
it may be present in less quantity during regular times and would be in more quantity during allergy as well as cough and cold in the child.
mucus idn the stool is also associated with gastrointestinal infections as a less constipation as well as indigestion.
treatment is usually given according to the cause
