Q.

Hi Doctor, My Daughter Keshia. 1 Year 4 Days Old. We are taking vaccine in Government. In Government PCV vaccine is not available so we didn't take that vaccine so far. So we decided to private hospital for this PCV vaccine. Could you please any one suggest when we can put that vaccine? Can we have that PCV vaccine now or any Month or year specific period to be maintained?

A. Hi Mom, Vaccination with single dose of PCV vaccine may be considered in children aged 2-5 years. I would suggest you to consult with your child doctor regarding the same for proper advise. Thank you and have a good day.
