Q.

My 5 months has taken all 6th, 10th & 14th weeks vaccines in time in Government. Now we are intending to take PCV vaccine in private because in Government this vaccine is not available in Government. Please suggest me to take or not??

A. Hello, your baby boy is has received all vaccinations at government hospitals but PCV is not avalaie at government hospitals so give him 3 primary doses and one booster dose

A. pneumococcal vaccine is optional vaccine you had to take 3 doses in interval of one month if you want to take the vaccine there are many other vaccines like flu vaccine hepatitis A vaccine which you had to take with your doctor only not available in government

Q. My baby vaccination is completed upto 6th week by government hospital. Now its time for 10th week vaccination. As per government hospital vaccination schedule, there are only two doses of PCV and IPV i.e at 6th and 14th week but as per private hospital schedule, there are total three doses i.e at 6th, 10th and 14th week. Should i continue in government hospital or opt for private hospital? Is it possible that i vaccinate my child at 10th week by government hospital for all vaccines and then go to private hospital for only PCV and IPV and then at 14th week vaccine by government hospital for all vaccines? #Vaccination

Q. Hi Doctor, For my kid 6th week vaccination completed at government healthcare center. Same five vaccines they are giving in 14th week also. But in 10th week they are giving only three vaccines i.e. Penta, OPV and ROTA, not giving PCV and IPV. Tomorrow is my kid 10th week vaccination day.
